My name is Lindsay Alvis and I have lived in Wollaston for 27 years and have been a Parish Councillor for 14 years. During that time, I have twice been elected Chair to the Council.
I believe that the next 4 years are going to be very challenging as the Parish will no longer have a Borough Council to turn to. The Parish Council will now have to establish and re-establish relationships with the North Northamptonshire Unitary Council, to ensure that the Community at Wollaston are not forgotten and this is why I am standing for the Wollaston Parish Council.
