I am proud to live in our village. Myself and my wife have lived in Wollaston for the last 23 years, and it felt like home straight away. Our children have grown up in the village, gone to school here, travelled to scout camp, taken ballet lessons (just the one!), represented the local football team and sat on the pre-school float in the carnivals. We as a family have taken part in all the village has to offer and have loved every minute of it.
I have been a school teacher in our local area for the last 25 years, and have always taken a keen interest in local issues and want to do something to make this an even better place to live and grow up.
Not every community has the facilities or the imagination to provide the right services and amenities for its residents; we are very lucky to live in a village like Wollaston. I am excited to be able to represent the people of Wollaston on the Parish Council and to serve at a time when Community has never been more important.
