Footpaths

Purpose
To oversee the footpaths and bridleways in the Parish and to ensure they are kept clear of obstructions.
Duties
- To walk the public footpaths and bridleways of the Parish, if possible on a monthly basis, to discover whether there is any action that needs to be taken either by the Parish Council or the County Council to maintain them to a proper standard.
- As appropriate, to report any problems either to the Parish Council or directly to the County Council.
- Where practical, to cut back undergrowth to allow unhindered access to kissing gates, styles and gaps in hedges / fences.
Note: the Chairman of this Sub Committee is also the Parish Paths Warden.
