WOLLASTON PARISH COUNCIL

 

SUMMERS GRANGE PARISH COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE

PURPOSE

To represent the Parish Council in all matters relating to the Summers Grange housing development. The councillor will serve as the key point of contact between the developers, residents, local authorities, and the Parish Council, ensuring transparent communication, advocating for the parish’s interests, and helping to guide the development in line with the local community’s needs.

 

 

 

DUTIES

 

Act as the single point of contact between the Parish Council and the developers, planning authority, and contractors.

 

  • Maintain regular contact with stakeholders to monitor progress, raise concerns, and share updates.
  • Report significant developments to the Parish Council in a timely manner.
  • Attend site visits, planning meetings, and stakeholder consultations as appropriate.
  • Track development milestones against agreed timelines and flag deviations.
  • Gather feedback from local residents regarding the development’s impact, including traffic, infrastructure, and amenities.
  • Advocate for resident concerns and ensure their views are reflected in discussions.
