Cllr Savage confirmed that works had been scheduled in for the trip hazard at London Road Play Area (new area of mulch to be added to the front of the slide).  The energy cost for the floodlights and rising bollard has increased substantially due to TNUoS charges resulting in the addition of a standing charge.  Streetlights – no issues.  Environmental – Highways walk around meeting was held on May 18th.  Kier have taken a copy of our latest Street Doctor report and will report back with updates.  Many areas were covered in this productive meeting including faded lines, potholes, double yellow lines and HGV restrictions. WPC to provide measurements and map image for double yellows on the South Street/Queens Road/Howard Road S Bends.  York Road will be closed for two days in June for essential patchwork prior to full resurfacing in the future.  Street Doctor – Report remains fairly static due to 10 reports fixed and 11 added.

  • Village Hall management Committee Update (MG) – no issues.
