No issues.  The park is looking tidy.  Thank you to Mr Bill Thompson for his hard work gardening & weeding in the Pocket Park and also to Scott Bader security for the opening and closing of the park.  Water Butt to be sourced and located under the guttering of the Scott Bader unused building.

SPORTS ASSOCIATION REPORT

Football – last game for the 1st team due to be held on Saturday, behind due to the wet weather.  Reserves have finished their season and the Vets by end of May.  Mr Perry is currently trying to contact Mr Robert Spiking (specialist sports groundsman) for aerating and seeding.  It is preferable that this work is carried out before the end of June (Summer Festival).  Youth will continue to train throughout the Summer (except when seeding).

Cricket – large proportion of teenagers in the 1st team this season. Friday youth registration on 3rd May was cancelled due to weather, rescheduled for Friday 10th May.  Good numbers expected.

Car parking continues to be an issue particularly when both football and cricket are both playing, area inside the field to be roped off to allow parking inside.  Painting of the football changing rooms to be carried out at the end of the season.  New alarm sounder has been fitted.  Clerk advised still awaiting response from PCSO Fenner on incident at the field on April 22nd.
