Budget & Precept 2026-2027
The Precept is the element of your Council Tax that is paid to Wollaston Parish Council.
Every year, the Parish Council draws up budgets and calculates how much money is required for Wollaston Parish Council for the next Financial Year.
For the year 2025-2026 the precept was £107,756 (a 5.9% increase on the previous year)
For the year 2026-2027 the budget is £112,000 (a 3.7% increase / £3.09 per year based on Band D average)
The Parish Council precept is submitted to North Northamptonshire Council, who include this payment within resident’s council tax.
Year 2026-2027 budget and precept were approved by the full council at the ordinary meeting of the parish council held on 18th December 2025.
