The Playing Field facilities include:
- soccer pitches
- cricket pitches
- tennis courts
- basket-ball courts
- children’s play area.
Maintenance of pitches
The Wollaston Sports Association are responsible for the maintenance of the pitches.
Ownership of the Playing Field
The Playing Field is owned by the Parish Council and managed on their behalf by the Playing Field Management Committee, a sub committee of the Parish Council. Meetings are held at 2000hrs on the second Thursday of the month, either at The Hill (October –April) or the Sports Association pavilion on the Playing Field (May – September). There is no meeting in August.
Details of meetings are posted on the Newton Road notice board (by the library) and minutes are placed in the library.
Playing Field and Parks Management Committee
The Playing Field Management Committee consists of nine members, five Parish Councillors, one of whom is the Chair, and four from the Wollaston Sports Association. The Parish Clerk is the secretary. Other members may be co-opted from time to time.

Income is derived from grants (including Parish Council and sports organisations), fees and dues.
The Management Committee is governed by Standing Orders.
The Management Committee carry out an annual Risk Assessment.
